By submitting an entry or nomination for The Flamingo Business Awards, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
- Entrants and nominees must be aged 18 or over.
- Businesses and individuals entering must be operating legally and ethically within their industry.
- All information submitted as part of an entry must be accurate, truthful, and provided in good faith.
- Flamingo Business Awards reserves the right to verify claims, achievements, and supporting information submitted as part of the entry process.
- Incomplete, misleading, or fraudulent entries may be disqualified.
- All entries and nominations must be submitted via the official entry process before the stated deadline.
- Late entries may not be accepted.
- Entries must be submitted into the most appropriate category.
- Flamingo Business Awards reserves the right to move an entry into an alternative category where deemed appropriate.
- Submission fees (where applicable) are non-refundable.
- Finalists will be contacted using the details provided at the point of entry.
- By entering, you acknowledge the date of The Flamingo Business Awards Grand Final and agree to make all reasonable efforts to be available should you be selected as a finalist.
- Attendance at the awards ceremony is not mandatory in order to be selected as a finalist or winner.
- However, The Flamingo Business Awards are designed to create not only recognition, but visibility, connection, and commercial opportunity. We therefore strongly encourage finalists to attend in order to fully maximise the experience and opportunities associated with being recognised.
- Flamingo Business Awards accepts no responsibility for travel, accommodation, or any associated attendance costs unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- All judging decisions are final.
- No correspondence or disputes regarding judging outcomes will be entered into.
- Flamingo Business Awards reserves the right not to award a category if entries do not meet the required standard.
- Where categories include a public voting element, all voting must be fair, ethical, and free from manipulation.
- Incentivised voting is strictly prohibited.
- This includes offering gifts, discounts, free products, services, giveaways, competitions, financial incentives, or any other reward in exchange for votes.
- Flamingo Business Awards reserves the right to monitor and investigate suspicious voting activity.
- Any entrant found to be engaging in incentivised voting, vote manipulation, fraudulent voting activity, or unethical conduct may be disqualified without notice.
- All voting decisions are final.
- By entering, finalists and winners agree that their name, business name, branding, logo, images, and submitted information may be used by Flamingo Business Awards for promotional, marketing, press, and publicity purposes.
- This includes website, social media, press coverage, printed materials, and future awards promotion.
- Flamingo Business Awards reserves the right to disqualify any entrant, nominee, finalist, or winner whose conduct, business practices, or public behaviour could reasonably be considered damaging to the integrity, reputation, or values of the awards.
- Flamingo Business Awards reserves the right to revoke finalist or winner status if serious misconduct or material misrepresentation comes to light.
- Flamingo Business Awards reserves the right to amend dates, venue, format, categories, timings, or event details where reasonably necessary.
- In the event of cancellation, postponement, or circumstances outside of our control, Flamingo Business Awards shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.
- Flamingo Business Awards accepts no liability for personal loss, travel disruption, accommodation costs, or other expenses incurred in connection with participation unless required by law.
- Personal information submitted as part of the entry process will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and used for awards administration, communication, and related promotional purposes.
