Most people plan an event and hope it makes money. I engineer the money first, then build the event around it.
An event planner books the venue, sorts the running order and gets everyone through the door. Brilliant. Necessary. But it is logistics, not strategy.
An architect designs the whole structure before a single thing is built. Where the revenue comes from. Who is in the room and why. What happens on the day that turns a delegate into a client. What keeps earning long after everyone has gone home.
